Religion interpret the initial Genesis 1:1
statement as God accomplished act of creation.
God in this view finished the heaven and the earth.
Religion then relates a developed creation
of events to follow. Thus God formation is recalled in certain stages.
My question is outside the chatter of religion
and into the realities of the God statement.
This statement first starts with Moses.
Moses who wrote this creation account.
Moses who detailed an angel who told him the account.
In retrospect, the initial verse of Genesis
is angel telling Moses
"In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth".
Angel in the sequence of events defined the formation it took to form these features.
Can you tell me which view is the God story account?
