In our Creation of Woman Bible study, we talked about God creating woman as the answer to His problem. Here is Lorna's response to that lesson...
1. How does it feel to know that you were God's answer to His problem?
It feels very good to know I am the answer to the Lord's problem as many Christians can get confused and "blame" women for the original sin. Forgetting that Adam was to be the head of his wife and never once did he discourage her from wrong doing.
2. Are there times in your life when you have felt like being a woman was more of a problem than an answer? Why or why not?
I have always felt that being a women was the "answer" to what my husband, family, career needed. First. I see my husband very good for what his is good for and vise versa for myself and together we make a perfect fit where I am weak he is strong and vise versa. Some of the things that make up my "womanhood" are the things that keep my household running. As far as my career is concerned I am a nurse so part of my female make up is needed to do my job. For example the woman's innate need to nurture has to be present to nurse. This is not to say that a man can't nurture or all women jump out of the womb looking for people to take care of, however it has been my experience that most women do tend to have that trait one way or the other as it can be used in our roles in the household.
