Creation of Woman

What was the point of the creation of woman?
That is what we talked about in the first few lessons of the Free Virtuous Women's Bible Study Course:

Lesson 1: The Creation of Woman: Why Did God Even Bother?
Lesson 2: Creation of Woman: The Help meet Dilemma

Here are Annie's thoughts on the creation of woman:

I am happy that GOD decided that His creation needed us to be complete and that we are also complete by being part of the whole! In HIS wisdom HE made us partners and each was given their part to play: A slave we are not, simply a provider man is not.

We are each given unique roles and are admonished by GOD in HIS word just how we are to work and treat one another! Man's logic complements our sensitivity and vice-versa. Would that I always understood and followed HIS teaching on this but sometimes!!!!lol!!

It is good to know HE understands and has a sense of humor!

We are part of a whole...

Annie,
I truly agree that it is amazing how God created us to be part of a whole. It should not surprize us since God Himself is a three part being as He reveals in the The Trinity. Relationship is such a huge part of who we are.

I also like how you pointed out that "Man's logic complements our sensitivity and vice-versa." The longer my husband and I are married the more I realize that we really are DIFFERENT. Sometimes, I have to stop and remind myself that I am married to a MAN. I can't expect him to act or think as I think is appropriate.

But, our differences keep life interesting! Which proves that God does indeed have a sense of humor (-:
