Proverbs 31 Woman in Our World Today

I am a wife of 18 years and a mother of 2 teenage boys. I work part time outside of the home because my husband works at home. That way our boys are never without a parent. I enjoy horse back riding, four wheeling with our boys, and watching them play high school sports. My greatest enjoyment is my time alone with my husband.
I would like to learn how to be the woman God intended for me to be in a world where woman feel they need to be "the man". I want my own identity like the one described in Proverbs 31. How does God fit me in a world that thinks I am "outdated" and "old fashioned"?
I get so busy, I forget He is here, right beside me. I want to see Him walking beside me throughout the day, and now, I have lost that relationship. I need guidance to get me back close to Him again.

Hi Krista, I just came across this site today and read the study and your comments. I was searching for an online study to become part of my day. The days seem to slip by and God also seems to slip by me. So when I read what you had written it tugged at my heart. When we reach out to God he is soooo present. He waits for us to meet him where we are in ours lives. I find when I open my eyes I can see him all around. You have already brought him make into your focus by the words you have written. Just keep going in his way and you will be the women he wants you be. He gives us everyday as a new beginning to become closer to walk in his way and to love and Praise his name. Hello Krista, I was just wanting to encourage you and say that the word of God tell us just to confess our faults one to another and pray for one another. You took that step when you shared your story.Just as you shared that your story with other people share it with God.How I talk to people is the same way I pray and talk to God. The word of God tells us to ask, believe that when we resquset that we have already receive what we ask and that He(God) is faithful and just to give us those things as along it's according to his will.( ask,seek,and knock Matthew 7:7-12) So stay encourage and keep the faith. The race isn't given to the swift nor the strong but he(Krista) who endures to the end.Put your name in the scriptures. Remember always to put your armor on (Ephesians 6:10-20) God Bless Tammy |

I can tell God is calling you to go deeper...
Hi Krista, I can tell from your post that you can feel God calling you to a deeper relationship with Him. I think there comes a time in every believer's life where we feel that tug on our hearts.
