An Attempt To Save A Marriage


Scriptures: Ephesians 6:12; Matthew 10:1

Part 1
INTRODUCTION

There are many people who want to save their marriage. I was one. There is so much to compete with to draw the mate’s attention back to the home. But where there is a will, there is a way to try to salvage the remainder of an almost “extinct” institution YOUR MARRIAGE.

The main struggle that we have is with satanic forces in the spirit realm. Ephesians 6:12 gives us a clear picture of what we are up against and we must know what to do to take back that which belongs to us.

“For we are not fighting against people made of flesh and blood, but against the evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against
those mighty powers of darkness who rule this world, and against
wicked spirits in the heavenly realms.”

But thank GOD we have the victory! For Jesus gave us the power we need to take back that which is legally ours.

Matthew 10:1 - “Then He called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases.”

Women if you have not accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, I encourage you to do so right now. You NEED THE LORD! There is no other way out. All marriages have problems, but the difference is that the HOLY SPIRIT was given to us to go through all things with JESUS CHRIST in charge. Jesus said in the Word of God that a man must be born again. And Romans 10:9-10 says, “If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that your are made right with God, and it is confessing with your mouth that you are saved.”

Pray this prayer to receive Christ right now:

“Lord Jesus I acknowledge that I am a sinner and I want to be saved, I invite you to come into my life right now and save me. I give my life complete to you and I want you to take control. I receive you as my Lord and Savior right now. Rule my heart and fill me with your HOLY SPIRIT. Let your Divine Will be done in my life. Amen!

Now you are ready to allow the Holy Spirit to guide you through your broken marriage and get it on the road to recovery. For those who are already divorced, fear not, God has someone for you if you want a Holy Matrimony Marriage. But seek the face and the will of GOD first. Allow God to make you a whole person by healing you and delivering you from the many things that you have went through in the past. You do not need to take any of your pasts into your future. Always be ready to deal with present situations in the present and not reach back in the past to take from what has been. New days bring new problems. STAY IN THE PRESENT AND LOOK FORWARD TO THE FUTURE.

For many years I struggled with my marriage to try to keep it together. I would not argue with my ex-husband, or fuss back at him. I kept everything to myself and suffered dearly for it. I stood by helplessly watching my marriage, something I believed to be “UNTO DEATH US DO PART”; go down the drains to extinction.

But before the last of the fluid flowed down the drain, I attempted something highly irregular. I once was introduced to a book entitled “Total Woman” by Marabel Morgan. In this book she too was at the point where her marriage was dying. But she became very creative in the process of restoration of her marriage to a level which all but forgotten.

I too decided that I would do something about my dwindling marriage. So I start my journey on what I thought would be a road to recovery for my marriage. This may or may not work for your marriage, but you will never know until you try. And if you don’t like these ideas of which I call “LITTLE TREASURES”, then ask the Lord/Holy Spirit to give you those ideas that will bring about a change in your particular situation. Look into yourself, God has given us women a power like no other. You can do this if you want to give it your best. You will never know until you try. But, try something if you really want your marriage to work. It may not work for every woman, but don’t give up without a fight.

The devil does not want marriages to work. Therefore he throws all types of stumbling and blinding blocks in our way. These blocks and walls keep us from focusing on what the real purpose of the marriage was from the beginning. So if the man (the Priest of the home) will not look at his wife ( priestess), then it is time to give him something to talk about and to look at. The man must ask for the MIND OF CHRIST as well as the wife, in order for the marriage to represent Christ and the Church.


Questions it brought to my mind...
Am I the fault for the problems in my marriage? What else can I do?

Father, help me to see things as you see them and not as they are, in Jesus Name, Amen.
