forgiveness

13 years ago I told Jesus I didn't believe in him anymore because I didn't want to be able to be forgiven and I wanted to go to hell. My question is if I tell Jesus I am sorry will I be forgiven? Will the Holy Spirit forgive me?

Dear Linda, I read your article and was so happy that you realize you needed forgiveness for your actions. We have a God that is in the forgiveness business. We have a son that did something like you did and told God he did not want to go to heaven or hell and what God would do about that. Well Tim came to his senses and asked forgiveness and now goes to church and talks about God often. Tim found out we all come short from the glory of God. We all do something that displeases God one way or another and the Holy Spirit pushes us to ask forgiveness and be free from feeling guilty. Linda be at peace if you ask Jesus to forgive you and mean it, He will forgive and forget . I am telling you we have a wonderful loving God. God Bless You and stay in his word, go to church and just love Him and see what happens.
