How is Your Humility?

Do you walk in humility? Here is what Margaret had to say after doing the How to be Humble and Meek Bible Study.
God really spoke to me during this lesson about the amount of pride I actually do have and display. In some ways I'm an intensely private person. I love God & worship Him privately but I do not open up and share my faith publicly because I worry what others may think about me....even fellow Christians.
He gave me 8 immediate examples of ways that I lack humility which prevent me from walking further and deeper with Him. I can't believe how much my eyes and heart have been open to something I didn't even realize was an issue.

God definitely opens our eyes
Margaret, I also have those moments when I am reading something or watching a Christian TV broadcast and God will show me something in myself that I was oblivious to. I sit there wondering how I could have missed it. I guess that is why it is so important to develop a relationship with God through the Holy Spirit. Then you are able to hear God's voice when He is guiding you and refining you. We are all His works in progress... God Bless! Ameerah |
