Jesus Saves us From Sin and Sickness

I believe before Jesus was sent to die for our sins, the Lord brought upon sickness and diseases upon Israel (his children)for disobedience.

"The Lord shall smite thee in the knees, and in the legs, with a sore botch that cannot be healed, from the sole of thy foot unto the top of thy head" Deuteronomy 28:35

"Moreover he will bring upon thee all the diseases of Egypt, which thou wast afraid of; and they shall cleave unto thee. Also every sickness, and every plague, which is not written in the book of this law, them will the Lord bring upon thee, until thou be destroyed" Deuteronomy 28:60-61.

"Moreover all these curses shall come upon thee, and shall pursue thee, and overtake thee, till thou be destroyed; because thou hearkenedst not unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which he commanded the:" Deuteronomy 28:45.

Because Jesus came and died for our sins, we are no longer bound to sin. Therefore, we are not subjected to sickness or diseases. However, if we go out of the covenant of God, then God will allow these things to happen to us.

For example, Aids and other sexually transmitted diseases are put here because of sin, but we don't have to sin any more. THANK GOD FOR JESUS! He made remission for our sins.

Some sicknesses don't come by sinning. The devil has power too. That is why the Lord says study to show thyself approved because there is no excuse for lack of knowledge 2Timothy 2:15.
