Beautiful Testimony
by: A Proverbs 1:9 friend

Your comments are beautiful and inspirational. Please persist with your seeking of deeper understanding of the word. What you feel as struggle now is merely the chipping away of the dross of the world that attaches to us as we proceed through our days. (see Proverbs 25:4). I see your light. :-)

Dear Laylan

I appreciate all your commenst and Lalylan on your desire becoming a virtous woman. It is well worth it to wait on the LORd anm allow the LORD to transform us into virtuous women. The bible says the woman that fears God she shall be praised.
On marriage I would say God is faithful if only we will be patient, and open to Him. He cannot give out His Son to just any woman so as you wait for Him know that he is preparing just the right husband who will not only make you fulfilled here but even till eternity for that is the goal of God to give us spouses with whom we can ultimately make heaven with. God never fails my sisters, He is faithful and as you wait, you will not become ashamed. There is this verse that really encouraged me as I was praying for a spouse Isa 49:23b.
In the meantime as you wait prayerfully, get yourself acquainted with the LORD and in His love and the LORD will speedily bring that blessed man of yours with whom you will serve the LORD together in Jesus name. He did it for me and I know He will do it for you. God bless you

On becoming a virtuous woman
by: Lindsay

I am also on the path to becoming a virtuous woman. I am 25 years old, single and I have a child born out of wedlock. For many years I have sinned, and have been comfortable in my sin because I have accepted my actions to be normal and as things that everyone else in the world is doing, but deep down, I have felt them to be immoral. I have asked God for forgiveness in the past, but only now have I realized that I need to change and repent for myself and my family, to form a deeper relationship with God by accepting Jesus' teachings in my heart and living my life as Jesus would have me live. Attaining purity, sexually and mentally, in my thoughts and actions has been difficult because each day there is temptation to do or think something ungodly. However, I believe that becoming the woman of Proverbs 31 is attainable through faith, prayer, patience and dedication to God's word.

Becoming A Virtuous Woman
by: Flo

I certainly applaud your desire to become like Solomon's "virtuous woman"!
It is not easy and it is not something you will find a lot of help with in this day and age for sure.
This is kind of a passion of mine as well. So much so that I have written a book on the subject.
If you are interested in reading it and possibly commenting on it, please visit my site at https://www.createspace.com3384245 or it is also available at Amazon.com. It was just released and I would welcome your review.
I believe we have lost ourselves as women and so much more in our pursuit of equality.
The Word says, "Who can find a virtuous woman, for her price is far above rubies."
As I studied the story and researched that era I discovered that rubies were quite valued and sought after, just as we value diamonds today.
If you would like to be "much valued" and coveted, you are on the right track. Sometimes it is very hard to wait on something when you know what you want. But, I believe if you will tell God the desire of your heart, then leave it to Him, you may be surprised at how He answers and where your future husband may come from. God knows you like no one else, and He knows who will be the best match for a husband.
I will pray that God will guide you and give you patience as He prepares the right husband for you.
Don't ever stop striving to be a virtuous woman, as it is a lifetime commitment!

Wisdom
by: Anonymous

The path of virtuous womanhood is paved with wisdom. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Honoring God with all of our heart, mind, soul requires developing an intimate relationship with God. This really requires giving up those fears, hurts, and pains to Him. I am not sure about you, but as a Christian single woman of 25, I fear being "unchosen" as a spouse. But that is False Evidence Appearing Real: FEAR. Because the truth is that God is more than enough and He has chosen us to be in an intimate relationship with Him. Developing stronger relationships as sisters and daughters with sisters in Christ will help us grow to becoming virtous women.

Stay Strong my sister
by: waseme b

You are truely on the right path, and your story brings me to true joy, as I realize that there are other sisters in the LORD THAT ARE STUGGLING WITH THE SAME ISSUES. Our main goals are to please the Lord our God and keep a pure, abiding - temple-- which is our bodies. The road is long ang and rugged, but in the end, the fight is well worth every minute of pain and lonliness. But, it is not God's will that we be alone. Continue to pray and seek His face, your husband will soon arise (if he hasn't already). Please feel free to contact me. You have provided me with strength.
