I am from a Hindu background in a relationship with a Christian man. My parents have opposed this alliance outrageously. Please pray that my parents will have a change of mind and agree to this alliance and that we will be together as a married couple. PLEASE NOTE THAT I HAVE ACCEPTED CHRIST AS MY SAVIOUR...... i dont believe religion should stop love.
I am trying to support you because my wife is Chinese and i am Australian. Yes i was worried at first but her family did come round.
I dont know if you can do this but i am thinking if you and your future partner go together and get a blessing from someone you trust it may help.

Holy Spirit Dream

I had a dream in which i was taking communion and as I was drinking the "blood of Christ" I was told the words "Nair, Blood of Christ". I woke up distressed and knew that this was a dream of the Holy Spirit. God is living and active, and speaks everyday, even through dreams. I immediately started praying not knowing what the dream was about. I then searched in Google "blood of Christ Nair" and this prayer request came up. I hope this encourages you, and that you know God is on your side. If you needed a sign of faith or a sign of encouragement, here it is---God is searching for your heart, and he has called me to pray for the situation, never knowing you previously. I was only led to this site through the dream.

I believe that there is only one religion, one caste and one God for human. Since we are brought up in different religions it doesnt matter. We can still respect and accept our religion and other religion too. For that there is no need to convert from one religion to another.

Its your decision on a marriage...Be strong in mind...If you want so strongly to marry your lover do it...However take some time in peace to think about whether you can withstand your parents displeasure on your decision...and whether your lover is able to provide for you in case you don't get any support...above all seek god's will

You do not betray anyone with your alliance. Love, by any name, under the umbrella of any religion, is the greatest gift of all religions. As long as you freely accept the religion, without coercion than you have made your way to your own path. You can still freely pray in our Hindu style. Your parents do not need prayers, they need education. The answer is love, and it is right in front of them. If they choose hate, than live your life as if you lost nothing at all. Love comes from accepting, if you change your mind, than you will live your life losing this great gift of love, and knowing that your parents love is with strings attached, which no way to love a child. No one, but you can truly understand what is in your heart. To make such a powerful choice, it must be a powerful love. Remember to teach your children tolerance,peace,and our common humanity, so that we can end this hatred which hurts too many people. The true way, is a path of love. Keep walking.
