Prayer Request: Illness, demonic influence, resentment

Please pray for my husband. He has had 6 back surgeries and is in constant pain and recently started having pain in his stomach. Also, my 17 yr old daughter claims to be gay. I am having trouble with unforgiveness and resentment so I am not even sure my prayer for my family are being heard. Thank you and God bless you. Sharon Lewis

Hello. I am so sorry for all that you are going through at this time. I know it must seem that your life is coming down around you like a falling tree. You must remember that God will not put on you more that you can handle. Psalm 18:2 says, 'The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer, my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.' Psalm 37:24 says, Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; for the Lord upholdeth him with his hand.' Both of these verses tells me that through God and of God you shall be lifted up and all those that believe in him. Keep believing in God and his awesome power and put your all in his hands and he will deliver you and your family. You must continue to pray and seek God's face and not waver in your prayer life and your willingness to do his will. Ask God to forgive you with all your heart and to begin to restore you and your family. If it is not his will that your husband be healed, God will give both of you the strength to go through this together. As for your daughter, you must commit her to God and pray for God's guidance in what you say and do for her. I pray that she will see that she is wrong. You are not resp[onsible for her. I have a son and I had some real nightmares with him. If you have taught her what is right, she will eventually come back to those beliefs. My son did after 20 years. god will not let you down nor will he leave you. Keep praying and I will also.
