Prayer Request - My Relationship

My fiance and I are having some issues. We have really been trying to talk and work things out. But I know he is dealing with issues from his past.

I am so confused right now with why his emotions seem to bounce back and forth. I seem to be the one that he takes them out on right now. I love him so much but I know I can't "heal" him, only God can.

  • Please pray for wisdom and understanding on my part.

  • Please pray that God continues to work on his heart and deal with his past hurts.

  • Pray that his friend Chris will call him more often as Chris is a very strong believer.

  • Please pray that my fiance becomes more open to me and knows that he can trust me with everything and rely on me. He deals with a lot of abandonment issues and I really think there are times when he thinks I am going to leave him so he acts out on it.

  • Pray for the Holy Spirit to comfort him and show him what love is and that I love him as well as my kids do. That this is his family and we won't leave him.

i am alone ,my girl friend and i had breakup , i love her so much she also loves me but due to family problems she is nt talking with me, i can't live without her , i am begging god to change her mind and to give her as wife in my life, please brothers and sisters pray for us . our parents should agree us ... i believe in jesus very much, only jesus can give her to me back..i made sin but god given me such a big punishment..please lord give her back to me .. i'll never leave you in my life father, i will never lose my belief on you , she is in the hands of satan please release her plz....

i love my girl friend so much , i love my parents too.. she also loves me , but her parents r arranging marriage to her , she is having two younger sisters ,, for the sake of her family and her parents she is avoiding me ,, its hurting me a lot , i dont want to lose her .. i cant live without her , plz brothers and sister plz pray for me so that she comes back for me and all her problems should be solved.. plz .. i want her as my wife.. plz pray for us .. i am waiting for her with open heart ..plz
restoration of relationship

Please pray that God in His mercy will restore my relationship with the man that i love so much.He left me for another woman and iam so hurt and depressed.Please pray that God will change him and make him come back to me.I also pray that we will sin no more but will live a holy sanctified life and that whatever we do or say shall honour our Lord God together.Through Jesus Christ amen.

Power of a Praying Wife

Hi Laura,
First of all, I want to commend you on starting your marriage off right - Starting it out in prayer.

So many Christians don't do that. They think that they can "fix" their mate, when they can only "fix" themselves and pray for their mate. The fact that you are entering your marriage knowing that is more powerful than you know.

I am praying that God sends His Holy Spirit to minister to your fiance and comfort him. In the mighty name of Jesus, I rebuke the spirits of fear that are trying to attack him. They have no right to his mind or his emotions. He is God's man and I plead the blood of Jesus over his mind in Jesus' name. I also pray that God sends your fiance godly counsel and godly men to rally around him and lift him up.

Laura, I know that you are already praying for your fiance, but I would still like to recommend this book,The Power of a Praying Wife Prayer and Study Guide. It has really made a huge difference in my own marriage, and I think it will be a blessing to you as well. I would also recommend The Five Love Languages. It talks about how there are 5 major love languages and most couples do not speak the same one. When you learn how to speak your fiance's love language, it can help him to feel more secure in your relationship which is something God can use to help him in the areas he is struggling.

I am praying for you both.
