Hi Maryna, I am definitely praying with you for your spiritual growth. I know that you also want us to pray for God to give you more of a desire to grow closer to Him. I have been where you are, and I know exactly how you feel! But, I want you to know that, the mere fact that you are here making this prayer request means that you do have that desire deep inside of yourself. Sure, it could be strong, but so could all of ours. The fact is that it is there and that you have a desire to seek God more! Some times we beat ourselves up and start living in condemnation because we are not where we would like to be spiritually, but, as long as you have a heart that is towards God and you desire to be better, that is more than God needs to totally transform your life. Now, I do not want to this sound self-serving, and I promise that this is not the way that I mean it. But, God has recently allowed me to write an eBook that specifically helps Christians take their relationship with God to a deeper level. It includes Bible study, but it also comes with a guided prayer journal that helps you take different parts of yourself before the Lord - specifically the parts that tend to separate us from God.
