I AM 57 AND I HAVE BEEN SAVED SINCE 1972 THIS WALK MY LORD AND SAVIOUR HAS NOT BEEN AND EASY ONE,I WOULD NOT TAKE ANYTHING FOR THIS JOURNEY GOD IS SO GOOD AND HE HAS BROUGHT ME THROUGH SO MANY HARD PLACES IN 1975 I WAS LIVING IN TOTAL FEAR UNTIL JESUS TOLD SATAN TO TAKE HIS HANDS OFF ME THAT I BELONGED TO HIM!EVERY SINCE THAT DAY GOD HAS BEEN LEADING ME CLOSER & CLOSER TO HIM.GOG IS TEACHING ME THE IMPORTANCE OF STAYING IN HIS WORD;FAITH-JOY PEACE AND ALL HIS OTHER GOODNESS COMES THROUGH HIS WORD THAT IS FULL OF POWER.

My Thoughts...
UNDER PRESSURE
THERE ARE SO MANY THINGS GOING ON IN OUR WORLD TODAY,SO MUCH TO KEEP US ON EDGE AND ALL TORE UP WITH FEAR; THE CHILDREN ARE BEING NEGLECTED AND KILLED-TEENAGERS ARE COMMITTING SUICIDE AT LEAST ONCE A WEEK-SO MANY FLOODS WHOLE FAMILIES ARE BEING DESTROYED!AND THE SNOW IN SO MANY
PLACES UP TO THE WINDOW SILLS,I COULD NOT EVEN IMAGINE THAT.GAS PRICES UP AND GETTING HIGHER.PEOPLE ARE BEING TERRORIZED ALL OVER THE WORLD. "PRESSURE"! JESUS SAID THE HEARTS OF MANY WILL FAIL BECAUSE OF FEAR. MATTHEW 24:12.
WHAT'S CAUSING YOU HEART TO BE FEARFUL?
JESUS IS AWARE OF OUR FEARS,AND HE HAS ALREADY TAKEN CARE OF IT.

My Thoughts:
JESUS DIDN'T LET THE PEOPLE HE HUNG AROUND CHANGE HIS MIND NOR HIS DIRECTION.EVEN WHEN HE HUNG ON THE CROSS AND THEY SAID COME ON DOWN SAVE YOURSELF AND US TO WHILE YOU'RE AT IT.LUKE 23:39-42 I AM SO VERY GLAD JESUS CHOSE TO HANG IN THERE FOR US.WHAT AN AWESOME GOD WE SERVE.WE MUST HANG IN THERE FOR EACH OTHER AND LET NOTHING CHANGE OUR MINDS ABOUT OUR GREAT GOD AND SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST.WE DO NEED EACH OTHER.

I AM REALLY CONCERNED ABOUT PEOPLE BEING SAVED AND THAT THEY REALIZE THERE IS A PREPARED PLACE FOR PREPARED PEOPLE.THIS IS THE PLACE TO GET READY TO MEET THE LORD.

WHAT ARE YOU WAITING ON TO GET SAVED?
My closing prayer...
FATHER HAVE MERCY ON YOUR UNSAVED PEOPLE TEAR DOWN THE STRONG HOLDS IN THERE MINDS OPEN THERE BLIND EYES AND UNSTOP THERE DEAF EARS SO THEY CAN HEAR YOUR SPIRIT CALLING THEM TO JESUS THERE SAVIOUR. HELP THEM FATHER TO ACCEPT JESUS NOW.AMEN

I AM WRITING THIS ONE BECAUSE THERE ARE SO MANY PEOPLE BEING TAUGHT THAT THERE WORKS ARE WHAT'S SOME HOW KEEPING THEM SAVED.THEN WHEN THEY DO SOME SINFUL THING THEY ARE AFRAID OF GOING TO HELL THAT IS NOT WHAT GOD'S WORD TEACH US;LIVING IN FEAR IS NOT WHAT GOD CALLED YOU TO.GOD CHOSE US IN CHRIST JESUS BEFORE THIS WORLD BEGAN-EPHESIANS1:4 IT GAVE GOD GREAT PLEASURE TO CHOSE US AND IN 1JOHN5:13 WE ARE TOLD THAT WE HAVE ETERNAL LIFE IN CHRIST JESUS SO HOW CAN WE LOSE WITH THE ONE WHO HAS ALL POWER IN HIS HAND AND HAS ALREADY SET US UP FOR HEAVEN.THEN I HEAR SOME PEOPLE TALK ABOUT THERE WORKS;WHAT WORKS CAN IMPRESS GOD OTHER THAN BELIEVING IN HIS SON.YES WE DO TRY TO LIVE RIGHT BUT IT SHOULD NOT BE OUT OF FEAR OF GOING TO HELL BECAUSE THAT CAN'T HAPPEN,WE LIVE RIGHT BECAUSE OF OUR LOVE FOR GOD AND AS YOU GROW AND STAY IN THE WORD YOU WILL LEARN THAT JESUS HAS FIXED IT ALL FOR YOU.GOD IS NOT LIKE US SAY ONE THING AND MEAN ANOTHER;GOD MEAN EXACTLY WHAT HE SAID AND HE SAID IN CHRIST WE DO HAVE ETERNAL LIFE-NOW,JESUS CHRIST IS THE RESURRECTION AND LIFE.JOHN11:25-JOHN6:28

My thoughts:
As I read through the different prayer request I can feel the fear and I have been there, so tore up with fear I didn't know what to do,I knew that God had promised to take care of me but I couldn't see because fear and doubt will cause blindness but God kept allowing me to go through and now I'm at a place in my life I didn't think could be this good!!
That's why I keep encouraging you to get in the word so it will build up in you.For God has not given us the "SPIRIT OF FEAR" but of power love and a sound mind. The scriptures above are just to get you started "PLEASE,PLEASE" stay in God's word for yourself so that God can speak to your "HEART" and give you the help and encouragement you need.
Questions it brought to my mind:
Where is your faith? Since it's in God let's trust Him.

HEAVENLY FATHER
HELP US PLEASE TO LEAN NOT TO OUR OWN UNDERSTANDING {WHICH IS SHATTERED ,WEAK AND SET ON THE FLESH} WE ARE SO USE TO DOING THINGS OUR OWN FATHER,HELP US TOO LOOK TO YOU FATHER AND KNOW THAT YOUR WAYS ARE DIFFERENT FROM OURS AND SO IS YOUR TIMING.FATHER YOU KNOW WE DON'T LIKE TO WAIT AND WE THINK WE HAVE TO UNDERSTAND AND KNOW EVERYTHING,BUT WE CANNOT~FATHER HELP US TO GET IN YOUR WORD SO WE CAN GET TO KNOW YOU BETTER AND TRUST YOU MORE.THANK YOU FATHER FOR YOU SAID YOU WOULD "NEVER" LEAVE OR FORGET US,THANK YOU FATHER FOR KNOWING ALL ABOUT US AND TRULY LOVING US,I THANK YOU FATHER THAT "NOTHING" CAN EVER SEPARATE US FORM YOU.HALLELUJAH,PRAISE YOU GOD I LOVE YOU AMEN

My thoughts...
"It Shall Come To Pass" You will show us your faithfulness and unfailing love as you promised with an oath to our ancestors Abraham and Jacob long ago. God is aware of all our needs even in our darkest hours,in our most troubling and misunderstood moments. God is still leading us through our most hearthbreaking and painful times.
He is still leading us.
As we continue "Trusting Him" He will surely get us to our destination in Christ. That place of quite rest, could it be that God is challenging your reasons for serving Him?
Can you still trust God if you don't get all you are asking for? "Suffering" can be used by God to draw us closer to Him as well as drawing others to "Repentance"!
In your search to draw closer to God count the cost. Jesus paid a "Great" price to set you "Free", what are you willing to give up or go through in order to draw closer to your "Saviour"?
Healing is more than just physical. As you grow and learn who you are in Christ, you experience (healing) peace, joy and total trust in God - That is our most needed healing because when sickness and other forms of suffering come, we won't be all tore up with fear and doubt. And when we don't get what we've asked for when we think we need it, this "Healing" will keep us as we "Trust" in God in that "Place of Quite Rest" in our Lord Jesus Christ.
This is the healing I'm praying for God to give you and me.

Father help us to count the cost more than just keep looking at our circumstances..Father help us to consider "All" Jesus went through for us and help us to keep our "Focus" on him as we trust you to do what's best for us for you truly do know our needs better then we do. Father as we wait on your answers help us to "Praise" you now just as we will when you've answered our prayers according to your will in Jesus name.

Today I've been low close to depression,and there was not one thing I could put my finger on that was causing me to feel this way.I thought maybe it's the Christmas season,but there is nothing really different about this year that I haven't faced before.Then as I keep pondering and trying to figure out what's going on? A thought came to me concerning and article I read in Wordpress,it was a young guy 14yrs. old and he was expressing to us how all his friends & family had turned their backs on him.That broke my heart to think of being treated that way by those that are suppose to love you,he is gay.Sometimes I believe as Christians we become to "Untouchable" thinking we are better because we don't do this or that,well we should remember if it were not for the Grace of God we would be sad,lonely & full of fear just like he said he is.It really tore my heart apart and I just keep thinking how very bad he is feeling,some people think that being gay or lesbian is the unforgivable sin-but it is not.I am praying for God to help us Love others as we should,because God said we were to be known by our Love.As sad as it is to say,we do not always show the true Jesus kind of Love;we tend to pick and chose who & how we Love.The world around us is to know we belong to God because of the true love we show.

Final Destination
18 When Jesus saw the crowd around him, he instructed his disciples to cross to the other side of the lake. Matthew 8:18 Jesus told his disciples we’re going to the other side of the lake,Then Jesus went to take a nap.Jesus knew the storm was ahead and yet he went to sleep! I totally love this picture Jesus is as calm as can be,as I should be when the storms of life arise.Jesus did not have any fear or wondering about what to do! The storm hits the boat and it’s being tossed up and down from one side to the other.Waves are pounding the boat and yet Jesus is at rest,what a beautiful picture! On the other hand the disciples are frantic with fear,even after all of the miracles they’ve seen Jesus do,they panic.Just as we do,even after all he has brought us through,we panic in the midst of the storm. It’s as if our brains are defected the way we tend to forget what Jesus did yesterday to pull us through. Even though we know Jesus has given us peace and a way out before,still we doubt. I praise and thank God for the Holy Spirit and the way he speaks to me.Our trials and tribulations are not permanent ,thank you Jesus and they are working for our benefit.We must learn to listen to God,and not our flesh or the devil.God’s words are full of power,and when he says we’re going to the other side,that’s what he means.There is nothing here,nothing in our pass or present that can stop our Final Destination,which is heaven. Scripture: Matthew 8:23~27 Isaiah 43:1~3 Heavenly Father help us to settle down and keep looking to you,knowing that you’re in the boat with us and that you will get us safely to our final destination.No mattter what we endure here.Help us Father to be calm in our storms and give you praise for you alone are worthy.Amen Love in Christ Pat Thacker 8-27-10 |

What is holding you back from being saved?God is so wonderful,merciful,understanding and full of love for you.He knows All about you and still desires to be in Relationship with you.Isiah 40:6 A voice said,"Shout"! I asked,"What should I shout?"Shout that people are like grass that dies away.Their beauty fades as quickly as flowers in a field.The grass withers,and the flowers fade beneath the breath of the Lord.And so it is with people.The grass withers,and the flowers fade,but the word of Our God stands forever.That whole chapter is so good just reading about how All Powerful God is,really gives you a different outlook on life. God's love for you is so "Great" and to experenice His love you must be in Relationship with Him,and there is still only one way to do that(no matter who is lying about a different way) and that's through His Son Jesus-John 14:6 Jesus told him,I am the way,the truth,and the life.No one can come to the Father except through me.Life is so short like the word says nothing more than a breath away from death,some people don't like to talk about death but it is as much a part of life as living.God has done His part to make sure you will be accepted in His kingdow and it is all through Relationship with Jesus. We will all some day leave this world and it pays to be ready,don't let anyone or anything keep you from a Relationship with Jesus.For fear,doubt and many other problems will try to keep you away from the Greatest Relationship ever know to man,but you're just a prayer away from peace,joy,mercy and Totally complete love in Jesus Christ.Just call on the name of Jesus and mean it:Lord Jesus I don't even know if I believe you died and rose again,but I want to believe so Lord please help me to believe in who you say you are the Only true and living Saviour and come into my heart,Jesus please forgive me for all my sins I am so sorry for all my sins.And when you pray just believe you are saved.John 3:17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condem the world,but that the world through Him might be saved.Romans 10:9 For if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead,you will be saved. Then just continue to pray start reading your bible in the book of John first,then get into a good bible teaching and believing church. It's good to remmeber things want look changed on the outside soon(sometimes)but just know you now belong to God Almigthy and He will slowy(most times)bring about All the needed "changes" in your life,you are so "Precious" to Him that loves you unconditionally!! Jesus Waiting For You Do you feel like you've done the the unforgiven thing and because of it no one seems to care or understand and you are all eaten up with Guilt,do you feel ashamed to even ask for help because you may be Rejected again? well even though your feelings are real and very painful let me ask you to give Jesus a real chance I've found through many trials & tribulations that Jesus is a True Friend that Sticks closer than a Brother He does not always remove the things that cause the pain but The "Strenght" He gives will carry you through any thing and the peace of knowing "All" of you sins are forgiven I cannot describe the Wonderful Joy & Peace you can experience just Being in Relationship with Him and The Love to know beyond a shadow of Doubt that You are forever loved in spite of what you do or what you don't do to "Know" and feel the "Greatest love ever known to man Jesus Christ is "All" of that and more and He longs for a Relationship with you. There is not one Person living that understand your every thought and feel your every pain and He even sees everything you do and "Yet" His love for you "Now" is still the Same Jesus will not change on you.so I encourage you Get To Know Jesus for your self and then "Experience" the "Best". Scriptures: Acts13:38,39 Peter had every reason to feel guilt after denying His Saviour but Jesus did'n't give up on Him.Mark 14:71,72 Mark 16:7 John 3:16 Romans 8:38,39 Jesus said in John 14:27 Peace I leave with you,My peace I give to you;not as the world gives do I give to you.Let not your heart be troubled,neither let it be afraid. you will Experience "All" these and more in "Relationship" with Jesus. What's Up With All This Pain & Trouble Today??
Just a few encouragung words for the weary,there is Still Hope and Help for us all and that Help is the same Jesus Christ there are many benefits for the Chid of God and much Hope for those unsaved in God's true word, Matthew 11:28 Then Jesus said,"come to me,all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens(and today with this economy many are trying to carry Heavy burdens), and I will give you rest.This "Rest" is found in Jesus,Jesus Christ is (Still) the way,the truth and the life.no one(in spite of the lies you've been told about another Way) can come to the Father-God except through me,there is No other way to God so please let God help you with your mind boggling Burdens for He can and will.We can find Rest in our Lord Jesus please read Hebrews 4:7~11 our Rest comes from Trusting in and Most important of all a Relationship with God through our Saviour Jesus!If you want the help of "Almighy God" then get to know His Son Jesus Christ by praying this prayer from your Heart really meaning it:Jesus I believe You died and rose again for me Jesus please forgive me for all of my sins and come into my heart(picture a door with just one door knob to your heart and then you open it) and live your life through me.Now let me tell You because no one told me,Things may get worse but you can "Always" know that you are God's child and He will 'Never" leave you John 3:36 you are His child forever now and He will help you with those Heavy Burdens and those desires to keep doing things not pleasing to Him,the more you grow in your Relationship the more Sinning will make you disguted and "Please Remember" we all still do sinful things but because of Jesus in our lives He will forgive us and help us to live this life in a way That He is Pleased with and that is all that Matters is Pleasing Him.
