If it is true that God is good & the Devil is evil, then how come the devil punishes only evil people?

God IS GOOD

God is a very good God and Father who blesses His children and also disciplines them as well. "Whom God LOVES He also chastises." Satan doesn't only affect evil people, he walks into church with Christians as well; trying to tempt or persuade their minds to turn from God.
Satan has only the power we allow him to have; the old statement, "The Devil MADE me do this..." is incorrect, he can't make anyone do anything; he can tempt and influence their minds but the CHOICE is ultimately the individual's.
God is our FATHER to those who will trust him with ALL their being.
