Sex, Relationships + God

I'm 17, and have been a Christian for about four years.
After working at a summer bible camp together for many years, my friend and I started dating. He has a bad past that includes having sex with many different women. I do not have a past like this, and when we started dating I felt uncomfortable about it. After awhile of dating, we started having sex. We love each other so much, and do plan on getting married. We both knew it was wrong + God tells us every time that we need to stop. What do I do? I'm having such a problem obeying God + what he wants me to do. I know He still loves me, but I can never feel His presence anymore. UGH! HELP!
