Why do my husband and I feel a little uncomfortable with our church?

My husband and I have been going to a fairly new church for the past month. We love the people and pastor but we do have one concern. There is a lot of attention going toward the advertisement of the church. Our pastor has been talking about sending out flyers to people to bring them in. They are very focused on growing the church and my husband and I wonder if they are focusing too much on it... I understand the building cost money but why do we feel a little funny?

It is a bible based church and the teaching there is all biblical.
