Willing to Face Hurts

To begin I am what you could describe as a "really nice Christian" who walks the line. I carry myself in manner that others know I am a Christian (good church lady), however I am really beginning to see that there are issues that the Lord wants me to heal.

Through these online bible studies, the Holy Spirit is gently leading me to a "willingness" to face hidden hurts from the past so that I no longer have to "grin and bear it".

I have not intentionally worn a mask,but I am now aware that God really wants to go deep inside so that I can enjoy life as He designed and at the same time help to free others whom I minister to in a correctional setting.

I have experienced hurts so deep until I developed ulcerative colitis which hospitalized me in the past. The medical profession has been used by God to heal me, however I sense that the Holy Spirit wants to go deeper.
