Do you feel like your in the Farthest Corners?

The noise in the world today can so often drown out the still small voice of God. As we run on our hamster wheel going from one thing to the next it is easy to find ourselves wondering how we got where we are, where we should be going next and how did I get to feeling so far from my Savior?

Isaiah 41:8-9 says:
"But you, O Israel, my servant Jacob, whom I have chosen,
you descendants of Abraham my friend, I took you from the ends of the earth,
from its farthest corners I called you.
I said, 'You are my servant” (emphasis mine)

Do you ever feel like you are in the farthest corners? That you are far from where you should be, forgotten, unsure of the next step or how to get back?

“I have chosen you and have not rejected you. So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

Do you see his eyes full of compassion on you? Do you feel his big hands cupping your face, willing you to believe that He has not rejected you but instead he is with you.

To Strengthen you.
To Help you.
To Uphold you.

God sees you in the farthest corners, he calls you his servant and himself your God.

When you feel like you have been running and running and you don’t know how to find your way back, stop and listen for the still small voice of your God, gently calling you back from the farthest corners.

Amen! Praise the Lord my God, He is my strength and my refuge. No matter how hard I've been through, He never leave me nor forsaken me. I can feel His wonderful mercy and grace that fulfills my weary heart and soul. To God be the glory!

Peace be still

For me life is full. Teach full time, six kids, oldest 16 and youngest 5. Getting caught up in a cycle of do, do , do and not stopping leaves me empty. It's amazing how the still small voice of Jesus gets drowned out! Yet, I can rest assured He has not left me. I have found that when I am totally drained and in a corner, I give. And always He is there ready to take every burden I have carried. I leave it at His feet and immediately find the peace and calmness I have needed to live my life. I find that with a calm mind and peaceful heart, my path is directed and I am open to his guidance. Taking time to "give up" and unload the struggles, gives Jesus the opportunity to direct my path. I am always amazed at the awesomeness of His love, mercy and grace He has for me when I come back to Him after running a long race by myself! The verse I hear comes from Mat 11:28-30 Come to me all who labor and are heaven layden and I will give you rest...
