In the 3-D Living Coaching Programs I use many different strategies depending on the needs of my client. However, I want to share my top 10 tips for 3-D Vitality with you. So here goes:
Tip #1
Let it Go:
Whether it’s guilt, shame, worry, resentment or fear; or processed, junk food – if it is not helping you, it is harming you! We are told in Hebrews 12:1 to strip away all those excess weights that slow our progress! So, let it go – release it – get rid of it.
Tip #2
Be Thankful:
This may seem very simplistic. But research shows thankful people are healthier overall. This is a basic principle in scripture. We are told numerous times to be thankful in all things for this is God’s will for us (1 Thessalonians 5:18). God’s will is always best!
Tip #3
Be a Sower:
Everyday you have the opportunity to sow “good seed.” Don’t think you have none – you have plenty! You can sow a smile, advice, love, peace, persistence, patience (a BIG seed!), kindness, self-control, encouragement – the list is endless! Studies show people who help others and show kindness actually benefit themselves as much as those they help! Luke 6:33 tells us to do good to all – even those who are not good to us.
Tip #4
Live in the Now:
We spend so much time regretting past mistakes or agonizing over future choices that we miss the beauty of today! Do everything mindfully – really taste and smell your food; enjoy the sun warming your skin; notice the humming birds, flowers and butterflies. When someone is speaking to you, look in their eyes and really listen. Be present. God has given us every good and perfect gift (James 1:17). Don’t waste the most precious gift of all – today!
Tip #5
Use High Quality Fuel:
Nourish yourself every day. Nourish your spirit with praise, worship, prayer and meditation. Nourish your soul with good books and music you love, appreciating and enjoying art, music and nature. Nourish your body with the freshest, most nutrient-dense whole food in the form closest to how God created it.
Tip #6
Move It…or Lose It!
The Dead Sea cannot sustain any life because it has no outlet and just stagnates. The same happens to us when we don’t move! Exercise your spirit by being a “doer of the word!” Exercise your soul by learning something new – every day. Exercise your body – there are so many different forms of exercise – you have no excuse. As the popular saying goes: Just do it!
