and he jumped up and said to his counselors, Did we not cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered, True, O king.
He answered, Behold, I see four men loose,
walking in the midst of the fire, and they are not hurt!
And the form of the fourth is like a son of the gods!
Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace and said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego,
you servants of the Most High God, come out and come here.
Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego
came out from the midst of the fire...
the fire had no power upon their bodies,
nor was the hair of their head singed; neither were their garments scorched or changed in color or condition,
nor had even the smell of smoke clung to them.

- In our reflection scripture, we see that Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were sent into the fire alone and bound (tied up/in bondage). But, when the king looked into the furnace he found that:
- They are no longer alone, but joined by the Son of God. And...
- They are no longer bound, but FREE.
- Have you ever found yourself asking God “Why” about a trial that you faced in your life? How does our asking this question show a lack of trust in God?
- Search your heart. Is there anything that you are mad with God about? If so, take this time to repent and ask Him to guide you in healing your relationship with Him. Then, write out the things that you can begin doing today to actively begin mending your relationship (examples: Writing your feelings to God in a letter. Fasting from TV and devoting more time to His presence. Etc.)
